Hopes and Wishes

I have really been thinking about hopes and wishes the past couple of days- and what exactly differentiates the two. It always seems that when I wish for something, I know it is unlikely to happen. A wish is something that is out of reach and more than likely unattainable. While when you hope for something there is the possibility that it might happen at some point in life.
I also thought that maybe a hope is something that is more sincere- it seems whenever I am being sarcastic or whatever I will "wish" for something...Like wishing my children would quit talking- Of course I want them to talk and would be worried about them not talking...but silence is golden...Wishes also seem to accompany regret- (I wish I never had....) or accompany not good feelings- (I wish I would loose weight) So you could say that "hopes" are a positive desire.

So here are some of my "hopes" instead of wishes....
1. I hope that my children will come to know and have a father in their lives- someone who will teach them about the Gospel and show them what a blessing a father with the priesthood can be.
2. I hope my children's father will eventually come to realize his potential and will live up to it.
3. I hope for happiness- for days without un-needed stress and with much needed laughter
4. I hope that I can be a good example for my children- that I will be able to show them how to love each other and be kind to all those they meet.

School Time

Well- School has started- actually it started last Monday- Life has just gotten so crazy!
Emily started Preschool with Sister Egbert on Tuesday- she loves it! Most of the kids are from our ward, with a few from others as well. Em has made a new friend in a little girl named Emily- She is a cute little girl who also goes to the same daycare- Grandpa has willingly agreed to take both of them back to daycare when preschool is over.

Caleb loves going to daycare- especially when he gets to take his backpack. He is such a cute guy- so busy. His teacher is new to the center- she has quite a bit of energy- especially when it comes to having six 2 year olds in her class.

Kids in my preschool started Yesterday- another group started today- but Caleb was up sick all night so I stayed home with him today.

I don't have first day of school pictures on the computer yet....so those should come in the next few days.
Here is my favorite picture from the summer. We bought a rocking chair from a yard sale on the next street over- and so Grandpa went to pick it up..
