My oh my how time flies....
So I was sitting here tonight looking at all of the blogs of the people I know- and some of those who I have lost contact with, and I realized- I am horrible at updating this thing!! It seems like only yesterday I updated you all- and I think it was last month!!!
She was very cute and wouldn't stop smiling.
She enjoyed Thanksgiving and seeing her cousins- couldn't stop smiling!
The third week of November came- and so did Emily's Birthday. Here she is with her castle in the clouds birthday cake. She is very excited to be four- she feels so old!
After her birthday both Emmy and Caleb came down with a pretty nasty case of Hand Foot and Mouth. They were both pretty miserable. In an effort to get Emily's hair out of her face I braided it- unfortunately I don't know what when wrong exactly.
Here he is enjoying the first snow of winter- he couldn't quite figure out where that white stuff was coming from.
Relaxing in the windowsill waiting for papa to get home from Boise.
And Finally his tractor. He uses this tractor in some of the most interesting ways- he pushes it across the room, he runs it across the room, he sits on the front and rides it across the room (that is what he was doing in the pictures- I just couldn't get them snapped quickly enough) he loads his favorite toys in it- I think it is his favorite toy.
Things are going really quite well here. I am changing things up still, but life is slowly starting to make sense and level out! I have started my first job this past week teaching Preschool for one of the local school districts, and I have to say that I love it! I am still hoping for a Kindergarten position in the fall- but only time will tell!
Emily has had an exciting month, we started off with her first Thanksgiving program. Her part went as follows:
Fat Turkeys are we,
We sleep all night in a tree
When the cook comes around
We wont be found
And that's why we're here you see!
Fat Turkeys are we
Gobble Gobble Gobble.
Caleb has been having fun as well. He has been enjoying being a boy- Here are some good examples:
His awesome Mohawk.
Emily and Caleb get along so well- they are always having fun, and give each other loves often- this is right after family prayers-partial love partial wrestle....
They sure do have fun!

Lima Bean Queen
Just wanted to give a little update!
Things are going well here! Got my first Job offer- very exciting stuff! I think Emily was more excited than I was! What a girl.
Emily and Caleb have been out of school for the past 2-3 days. Caleb has been sick for about 4 weeks running so he went to the doctor today. Hopefully we will get this all figured out soon. Emily I think has just needed the attention so she has been "sick" with Caleb. She enjoys the cuddling though- and is getting very excited for her birthday! She still insists that she is Emily Jean Lima Bean- and is getting very good at giving excuses to get out of any and all work. My personal favorite is, "Mom, I cant I am sick.....my tongue hurts...."
I wish I had some good Caleb stories for this post- but he has just pretty much been a puddle for quite a while. He has one or two good days a week. He is very cuddly lately though- and working on his mischievous smile!
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween!
Hey all! Lots of things have been happening lately in our lives. You might notice the changes in the website address and name. The three of us have changed our names- So if you start getting information from the Gibbons' family you will know it is from us!

Emily has been so busy with school, she is learning so much! She knows at least ten letter names and is busy writing not only her name, but also Caleb's and is attempting every other word she can! What a smart little cookie. She had a lot of fun the other night trick or treating- she kept informing everyone that she was a horse- because of course cowgirls ride cows not horses!!!!!! Recently at church she informed the primary chorister that her name was Emily Jean Lima Bean Gibbons. The chorister gave me quite the look and then just smiled and prompted Emmy to answer the question.
Caleb is quite the little boy. He is brave and daring but still hesitant over certain things. Tonight we had out an electric train that moved on a track- interestingly enough the train scared him to tears- yet he will stand up on just about anything and climb onto everything- even the quilting frame Grandma has set up. He enjoyed being a duck for Halloween. He loved wearing the costume- and the tights and cried when I took them off. He definitely handled the duck feet much better than Emily ever did. He was quick to figure out how trick or treating at the church worked- and made sure to smile perfectly at every candy giver.

School Daze...
Well school has started, and as promised here are first day of school pictures.
Life has been flying by- its hard to believe that it is almost the middle of September. The kids are doing well.
Emily has been learning her letter I and the letter U, she is writing her name and is trying to spell every other word, which is great, but gets a little bit frustrating when she wont tell you what she wants rather she expects you to understand that nonosbd means napkin, or milk or whatever else her heart desires. Silly girl.
Caleb is quite the monkey- he loves to be outside picking raspberries and blackberries and grapes and really anything else that he can find to eat outside. He loves playing and has started teasing and wrestling with his sister. He is very easy to smile and will giggle at some of the strangest things, but that is what makes him so delightful!
Thank you Uncle George and Aunt Linda for the cute outfits! The kids love them and they are absolutely adorable.

Feedback?
Hey all-
Wondering if I could get your feedback on the blog, what do you like? Not like? When do you all visit the site? I really would like some feedback so I know that I should keep updating and posting on here!

Busy Busy Busy
Things are going pretty well, we are getting ready to start school and dance classes and daycare.

Emily is pretty excited to be going to preschool she is counting down the days! (I will post first day of school pictures next week). She is turning into that sweet little girl that we have been missing all summer. What a girl, she is so helpful with Caleb, and so loving to everyone. She still has her squirty side to her- but without it she definitely wouldn't be one of my kids! She is going to be starting dance classes taught by my childhood teacher, the teacher also asked me to come back and do Ballet again....haven't decided if I will or not, but I would definitely love to start again.

Caleb is just having fun exploring the world. He can often be found on top of the kitchen table, or on top of the slide. Last week he almost made it to the top of the bunk beds by climbing up the ladder. What a monkey! He also loves water and will find it whether it is a wet spot on the driveway, sprinkler, or full fledged puddle! He has really gotten into teasing everyone, and loves to play hide and seek . Its fun to watch him and Emily play chase and to hear both of them giggle. He also started dancing by turning circles in the middle of the floor.

(yes his feet are off the ground in the picture)
Hope all is well with everyone. Congrats Dan & Jess and welcome baby Penny.

A long time coming...
Well unfortunately there will be no pictures on this update- I have been slacking on the pictures as of late! Life has been pretty busy (as if it is ever slow)
Emily has turned into quite the fish, she took over the 2-3 foot section of the pool the other night and on several occasions told me she wanted to swim by herself. She has been asking every day since if we can go back to the pool. She never ceases to amaze me with the things that she learns. She has been very interested in telling jokes, as of right now she has two in her repertoire and has been playing around with some new ones. She is such a kick! We have been going to the movie every Friday- she loves being able to pick the movie and really enjoys earning her own money to buy popcorn.
Caleb is always moving. Sometimes it seems as if he has four hands! He is a great guy, so happy. Its easy to see that he enjoys life. He has started signing quite a bit- he is quick to request more, especially when it comes to fresh fruit. He loves berries of all kinds and his other new discovery has been corn on the cob. He almost rivals his sister in the amount he can eat. He is also adding quite a few new words to his vocabulary every day. He is one smart little cookie. He does have little devils in his eyes though- he loves to pull the Kleenexes out of the box- and makes sure no one is looking first, its funny to see him shove them all back in when you say his name. Little turkey.
Generally speaking life has been treating the three of us very well. Summer is hot- but there are many beautiful things to see during the summer. And we have been blessed very much with friends and family that love us.
Oh I almost forgot- Emily and Caleb got pets a few weeks ago. We have acquired two dwarf rabbits. Emily named them Flower and Oatmeal. Flower is black and white, and oatmeal is brown with lop ears. The kids love them......which is great.

Where has the time gone?
OK so updating hasn't been going well!!
It has been a hectic crazy month!

It has been a hectic crazy month!
We got to watch the Angel Moroni go up on top of the temple. It was pretty amazing. Emily had colored a picture in primary of the Angel Moroni, and proceeded to yell at the statue, "Hey Moroni, Hey ANGEL MORONI!!! Look its a picture I drawed of you!!" It was pretty cute. We also got to take pictures of the kids standing pretty close to the figure! It really was unbelievable.
We then got to go camping up at Redfish Lake for a week. It was a nice break from life. We got to see a fox on our cabin's front porch, twin fawns and their momma, and three bucks playing in the meadow, all in one night! The kids enjoyed playing in the lake, even though it was freezing! They also had a great time with their cousins. Emily got to ride in a paddle boat, which she really enjoyed- although she wanted to help "paddle" the boat. Caleb really just enjoyed getting as dirty as humanly possible.
Here are a couple of other cute shots of the kids. Emily is in her matching jammies with Crispy, and Caleb is showing off his suave-ness with his hat and sunglasses.

Update
Here are some new pictures, I am going to try and update this a little more often ;)
Caleb is loving being outside and following his big sis around, so far she doesn't mind either.....but that time will come soon enough! He is quite the little ham, and has very flirtatious eyes!!! He has started climbing all over everything, and is getting pretty good at it too! He had to have his cheek super glued together a week before his birthday, lets just say he got in a fight with a table, and the table won. But it is looking pretty good!
Emily is getting ready to start swimming lessons, she also loves being outside. She has been practicing the initial sounds of words..She is quite the kid. She has also been enjoying working in the garden, and perfecting the "look." We have a frog living by Gram & Grandpa's house and she has been interested in listening to it, and not so much in finding it. She really is my girly girl.
Pictures of some friends
Here are some pictures we took the day we left Moscow-
