Well things are going as well as can be expected. Trying to stay busy-that's always a positive.
Emily Well she is going to be three next month-still can not convince her that three comes before five and that four comes in the middle-I think she would just skip to being five if it were up to her. She is till talking like crazy-and getting into everything. We permed her hair-it looks pretty darn cute. Now she can be Einstien every day!! She is pretty excited about Halloween- she is going to be Cinderella in a nice fuscia dress. Mainly these days she wants to be a ballerina-she dances and turns wherever she goes. She is also quite fond of singing-just like Ariel!! So we have a lot of the songs being sung from the Little Mermaid-especially the one where Ariel looses her voice-- Oy Vey!
Caleb- is doing well. He loves his carrots and applesauce, and apple juice and cereal. Next I think we will try some squash or something, who knows!! He just likes to eat. He is up to 16.5 pounds-and is trying his hardes to figure out this crawling thing. He just wants to be on the move. He has the cutest little giggle and smile and delights all of us by coughing to get our attention and then smiling, giggling, or talking to us until someone picks him up-then its time for even more fun. What a great guy!

Crazy Crazy Crazy
Well another week has flown by, it has been quite a while since we have had time to sit down and accomplish anything but school work.
Emily and Caleb are doing well at Playschool. Caleb is the delight of the infant center. They are always so sad when he sleeps all day and doesn't interact with them. We think he is starting to get some teeth; the drool is coming out in gallons! We can't see anything yet-but it is inevitable. Emily loves having her friends at playschool-she talks about them all of the time and is just typically busy. We have been experimenting with foam rollers in her hair-which she absolutely loves and at one point exclaimed, "I look like Einstein!!!" They keep us pretty busy.
Matt has been really busy with classes, he goes to class at 8 every day and I don’t see him again until 5 or 7 (depending on the day) when he is done with work. He seems to be enjoying his classes. He launches his bottle rocket this week and was busy building a Zen garden for me in his metal shop class. He usually does get home for an hour each day to have some lunch but other than that its just go go go.
I have been busy as well- Wednesday I wrap up my two weeks as lead teacher at preschool practicum. I can say it honestly wasn’t the best experience- I was told that I was just the guinea pig, but in real life situation I think I have the experience from my past to be able to teach preschool. I am usually in preschool until one or two most days then I come home and take care of the kids. Keeps me busy... Well It is nap time at our house, and I have about half a dozen loads of laundry to take care of.

Welcome Our Newest Family Members......
We have new arivals!!! We would like to introduce you all to our fish, Pillow (in black) and Nemo (the not just black fish). We are very excited to have them we think it will be great fun. Emily was key in naming both fish-if you couldn't tell, and she talks to them the same way that she talks to Caleb. Its pretty cute.

We went and got the tank yesterday and had to let it cycle for 24 hours. Emily's friend Taryn came along and it sure was fun... I tell you people with three kids under 3 are saints....It was a lot of fun though, the girls always have a blast when they are together. Its so nice to have such good friends.

Back Home Again
Well we got home from the summer in Southern Idaho. We are still working on getting things put away and neat before school starts on Monday-but I fear that it is a never ending task. We have most of it done, just the small stuff to do now-but we are starting to loose the motivation to get it all done.
Emily is pretty excited to be home and ready to head to daycare next week. She also is very excited about re-acquainting herself with our little house and community. She wants to explore everything and go visit everyone she remembers from the beginning of summer (mind you the girl never forgets anything ;) )
Caleb is doing well; we got his reflux under control by putting him on two different medications. He now is a much happier camper. He started giggling the last week we were at Grandma and Grandpa Gibbons' house; they were excited to hear that! He is a great baby, wakes up with a great big smile on his face. He got pretty tired of sitting in his car seat-but after 8-9 hours, who wouldn't be?
Matthew has several job interviews in the next two days. We are hoping and praying he gets one of the jobs so that he doesn’t have to do a paper route-especially with the price of gas going up and up...All of the jobs offers on the Universities campus, which will also be nice. He has so many talents; I hope that the interviewers see that.
Life has been going along pretty well in the past little while, not too many exciting events. We are planning on going camping this weekend; I am really looking forward to it. We even bought a new tent so there is actually room for all of us to sleep-and at least four of our friends....ok so the tent is huge. It is supposed to sleep 10 people, but with a playpen, there goes 2 people’s places...But it just means that we will never have to buy another tent until this one is pretty much falling apart. It has a nice screened porch on it too, which we were very excited to find.

Family Adjustments
Well Caleb was born 6 weeks ago yesterday. We have moved down to my parents for the summer, it is nice to get out of Moscow for a while. We seem to be adjusting to a new family member quite nicely.
Emily decided to potty train the day before Caleb was born, so we are only buying diapers for one now. She is loving being at Grandma and Grandpa Gibbons house and playing with her cousins. It’s nice that she has someone to play with that are close to her in age. She is also in swimming lessons, it’s a mommy and me course. She loves it. She went from wearing a life jacket and needing three floaty noodles the first day to just having arm floaties and swimming on her own three feet from either Matthew or I. She also has jumped off the diving board twice, a little hesitant to do that, but the grin afterwards was priceless. We have one more week of swimming lessons and then we will probably just go once a week in the evening for the rest of the summer so she doesn't loose her love of the water.
Caleb is a sweet little guy. He started smiling this week. He has flashed his award winning grin (and even a smirk or two) at everyone at the house. He loves his Grandpa Gibbons, he just grins and talks to him, and falls asleep really quickly whenever Grandpa holds him and he is tired. He loves to watch Grandma and talk with her as well. He watches the plants and sleeps for 6 hours at a time at night. He is growing like a weed as well I would guess he is at least 12 pounds by now. (If not more) He has grown out of his size 0-3 month clothes and is for the most part in 3-6 month. He is a long little guy!
Matt is enjoying work at Sun Valley-well as much as one can enjoy work ;) It keeps him busy, and they really like the fact that he is a hard worker. It is a blessing.
We were able to buy a new van this past week. It is a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. We love it! We got quite the deal on it too-it really pays to do your research before you buy!!
