Little Scientist

We have been tearing out the deck beside Grandma & Grandpa's house so that we can pour concrete on Monday for a new deck. While tearing out and leveling the ground we found several interesting things including a lipstick container that is at least 30 years old... Emily was very excited to find treasures and examine them!

Potty Training

We started potty training with Caleb at the beginning of July. And I am happy to announce that he is now at the point that he will take himself potty! We are so excited about this!

A funny story along these same lines..... Grandma has some little people play toys, which include a little toilet and several desks (as pictured below) Well, the other day Caleb realized that it was a potty and decided that he should sit on it also- just like his little people do. Needless to say it was quite a sight!

I love to see the Temple

We had the opportunity to tour the Twin Falls Temple on Thursday! It was wonderful. Emily was so excited she could hardly go to sleep the night before. I am completely amazed at all of the beautiful things that we saw and the wonderful feelings that we had.

Caleb and Emily were so wonderful. Emily has decided she wants to be married there. Caleb loved saying goodbye to every room. So you could hear, "Bye lestial room" and "Bye seal room." We are so excited for the opportunity to have a temple in our midst, and cant wait to go visit the grounds more often!

Such a Slacker

Ok I admit I have been a slacker!!! I promised pictures of vacation, and I still don't have them on my computer. So I will just share some that I have taken recently instead?!

Here is Emily and her Temple that she built. It is amazing to see the resemblance between her temple and the Twin Falls Temple....Ok maybe you can only see it if you are her mom...but I think its there... And here is one of Caleb's latest pictures. This is all this boy does. Play outside and smile and giggle. Its wonderful!

Vacation....

Wow, its been a long time!

We spent a week up at Redfish at the beginning of June with my entire family. Emily & Caleb loved spending time with their cousins. There are 17 grandchildren under the age of 13, which means there was hardly any down time. We love it though. They were able to ride horses, aqua trikes, and paddle boats. Even in the snow it was a great time!
The day after we got home I managed to fall off the stairs...needless to say my right hand is now in a cast.
