We have had a lot going on around here- between summer school and various appointments the past week has been one for the record books!
Emily has learned how to whistle in the past 2 weeks- now she is easy to find since she is honing her new talent! Grandma is keeping her busy with reading lessons and she is enjoying playing with her cousins that are visiting. Last week we had our annual visit to Red Fish Lake, Em was really brave and walked into the lake up to her waist (Pictures to follow- hopefully not too far in the future). I was pretty amazed with that as she is usually pretty timid in the water.
Caleb has several new phrases- the latest of which happened tonight at the park when he wandered too far and then came back over to me , giggled, and said "I was just kidding Mom!" other favorites includes "Maybe"- ranging from, "Maybe Uncle Peter would like this game.....Maybe I would like to play this game" and "Maybe this is my Diet Coke" We also discovered that his tonsils are pretty large- and due to quite a bit of snoring and irritability it has been decided that we need to go to the ENT and more than likely have them taken out.
Both kids also visited the dentist this week- Emily was so teary eyed when she found out she had 3 cavities- she even said to the doctor, "But I brushed my teeth every day" Caleb refused to open his mouth until the sugar free sucker was placed in his hand-at that point the little turkey opened his mouth just wide enough to let the Dentist peek inside.
We are also getting closer to our moving date- We will start moving things this next week- How quickly the past month has flown. We have most of our things packed up- but it will probably take us at least 2 trips with the truck to get it all down. And I was really hoping to move just the basics (i.e. clothes, beds, and kitchen stuff) Oh well!! We are getting very excited for a change- but will miss Grandma and Grandpa terribly!!

Don't you love it when they come up with those phrases? Halle is so mad right now, she cannot whistle and gives dirty looks to anyone that can :) I am excited for your move! What an adventure!
I can't believe you're already moving! And we never did meet up for lunch, even! You really sound like things are going so well for your little family, and I'm so glad! Good luck with your big move!
Wow! That is awesome that Emily can whistle! I hope the tonsils being taken out goes okay! Poor guy! And, I didn't know you were moving! Good luck!
