Busy Busy Busy
Things are going pretty well, we are getting ready to start school and dance classes and daycare.

Emily is pretty excited to be going to preschool she is counting down the days! (I will post first day of school pictures next week). She is turning into that sweet little girl that we have been missing all summer. What a girl, she is so helpful with Caleb, and so loving to everyone. She still has her squirty side to her- but without it she definitely wouldn't be one of my kids! She is going to be starting dance classes taught by my childhood teacher, the teacher also asked me to come back and do Ballet again....haven't decided if I will or not, but I would definitely love to start again.

Caleb is just having fun exploring the world. He can often be found on top of the kitchen table, or on top of the slide. Last week he almost made it to the top of the bunk beds by climbing up the ladder. What a monkey! He also loves water and will find it whether it is a wet spot on the driveway, sprinkler, or full fledged puddle! He has really gotten into teasing everyone, and loves to play hide and seek . Its fun to watch him and Emily play chase and to hear both of them giggle. He also started dancing by turning circles in the middle of the floor.

(yes his feet are off the ground in the picture)
Hope all is well with everyone. Congrats Dan & Jess and welcome baby Penny.

A long time coming...
Well unfortunately there will be no pictures on this update- I have been slacking on the pictures as of late! Life has been pretty busy (as if it is ever slow)
Emily has turned into quite the fish, she took over the 2-3 foot section of the pool the other night and on several occasions told me she wanted to swim by herself. She has been asking every day since if we can go back to the pool. She never ceases to amaze me with the things that she learns. She has been very interested in telling jokes, as of right now she has two in her repertoire and has been playing around with some new ones. She is such a kick! We have been going to the movie every Friday- she loves being able to pick the movie and really enjoys earning her own money to buy popcorn.
Caleb is always moving. Sometimes it seems as if he has four hands! He is a great guy, so happy. Its easy to see that he enjoys life. He has started signing quite a bit- he is quick to request more, especially when it comes to fresh fruit. He loves berries of all kinds and his other new discovery has been corn on the cob. He almost rivals his sister in the amount he can eat. He is also adding quite a few new words to his vocabulary every day. He is one smart little cookie. He does have little devils in his eyes though- he loves to pull the Kleenexes out of the box- and makes sure no one is looking first, its funny to see him shove them all back in when you say his name. Little turkey.
Generally speaking life has been treating the three of us very well. Summer is hot- but there are many beautiful things to see during the summer. And we have been blessed very much with friends and family that love us.
Oh I almost forgot- Emily and Caleb got pets a few weeks ago. We have acquired two dwarf rabbits. Emily named them Flower and Oatmeal. Flower is black and white, and oatmeal is brown with lop ears. The kids love them......which is great.

Where has the time gone?
OK so updating hasn't been going well!!
It has been a hectic crazy month!

It has been a hectic crazy month!
We got to watch the Angel Moroni go up on top of the temple. It was pretty amazing. Emily had colored a picture in primary of the Angel Moroni, and proceeded to yell at the statue, "Hey Moroni, Hey ANGEL MORONI!!! Look its a picture I drawed of you!!" It was pretty cute. We also got to take pictures of the kids standing pretty close to the figure! It really was unbelievable.
We then got to go camping up at Redfish Lake for a week. It was a nice break from life. We got to see a fox on our cabin's front porch, twin fawns and their momma, and three bucks playing in the meadow, all in one night! The kids enjoyed playing in the lake, even though it was freezing! They also had a great time with their cousins. Emily got to ride in a paddle boat, which she really enjoyed- although she wanted to help "paddle" the boat. Caleb really just enjoyed getting as dirty as humanly possible.
Here are a couple of other cute shots of the kids. Emily is in her matching jammies with Crispy, and Caleb is showing off his suave-ness with his hat and sunglasses.
